Fiberon’s Growth Leads to New Hires

02/13/2012 — New London, NC — Fiberon is proud to announce new hires who will enhance the company across multiple divisions and continue to pave the way for the company’s growth in the market.

  • Vice President, Senior Controller Anne-Marie Davis will enhance Fiberon’s business processes companywide and shape strategy in the areas of finance, information systems and human resources. Davis is a seasoned financial executive with 20 years of experience in manufacturing and a certified management accountant. She has experience working in public and private companies with rigorous financial reporting demands and sophisticated information systems. She brings all of that expertise to her new position.
  • Director of Product Development Peter Kotiadis will oversee product development projects for the company in all product and technologies. He was most previously senior executive officer and managing director of Tech-Wood North America, an innovative wood composite siding manufacturing company. Prior to that, Kotiadis served as vice president of design, engineering and product development for the Royal Group, with 11 years’ experience in various product development roles.
  • Director of Channel Marketing Rob Long will focus on channel partner development, managing and developing Fiberon’s product lines and respective product portfolios. Prior to joining Fiberon, Long served as a brand manager for the Lowe’s Company in a number of building material brands, including the Severe Weather railing brand. He also served as marketing manager of Louisiana Pacific and CertainTeed.
  • E-Media Manager Michael Coombs specializes in web marketing for Fiberon, including social strategy and inbound marketing. He brings 30 years of marketing experience to the team and recently earned his master’s degree in Internet marketing.
  • Director of Sales (Pacific Northwest) Brian Buck has 17 years of sales experience with a background in management, logistics, production and key account service. He is a strategic leader and team member with proven experience in business planning, as well as program execution. Buck’s recent sales roles included serving as a sales manager (Pacific Northwest) for National Coatings Corporation and an area sales manager for James Hardie Building Products.
  • Territory Sales Manager James Gunning has over 15 years of sales experience in the building industry with roles in outside sales, inside account management and purchasing management. Prior to Fiberon, he worked as an independent sales representative at Windward Sales Southeast and an outside sales consultant at WOLF. He holds a degree in professional sales and serves as vice president for the Atlanta chapter of North American Decking and Railing Association (NADRA).
  • Product Specialist (Southern California market) Betsy Bendix will increase and manage the network of decking contractors in her market. Bendix comes to Fiberon with 30 years of lumber and building material experience, notably in composite decking and railing. Her proven sales experience includes her recent position as Fiberon product manager at Huttig Building Products in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., as well as sales experience at All Coast Forest Products in Chino, Calif.
  • Product Specialist (Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont markets) Tim Thornton brings industry experience, product knowledge and customer service experience to his role at Fiberon. Thornton has performed construction work for several contractors, including deck building. He also brings customer service and claims experience from his roles at Aetna Insurance, Correct Building Products and GAF. At GAF, he served as a field service representative assisting distributors, dealers and contractors with the use of GAF products.
  • Product Specialist (Illinois, Northern Indiana, and Southeast Wisconsin markets) Chris Sanders brings nearly 15 years of experience in corporate sales leadership to Fiberon. Sanders is knowledgeable in all aspects of consultative sales and pull through marketing with a proven ability to generate leads, develop new business, manage key accounts and perform required field service.
  • Product Specialist (Northern Kentucky, Ohio, and Southern Indiana markets) Nate Courtney has working experience in composite decking and railing. Previously, Nate worked as a retail sales and decking specialist at Moore’s HomeCenter in Fort Thomas, Ky. From 1998 to 2006, he worked in a sales capacity at Riemeier Lumber in Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Product Specialist (Georgia market) Brad Hurst brings a variety of sales and customer service experience to his role at Fiberon. His prior roles include: sales consultant, purchasing manager, product specialist and inside sales representative. Most recently, Hurst worked as a sales consultant at WOLF, developing strong relationships with building product customers. He is also a member of the North American Decking and Railing Association (NADRA).
